Hints and Tips on medication reminders

Product Information

Equipment Description

If you take medication other than tablets, the best way to remember to take these is to set yourself reminders. For example, you can use a watch or a phone alarm that goes off when it is time to take your medication. You may also find visual reminders helpful, such as putting the medication next to your TV remote. Also leaving yourself written messages may help to remind you. The key is to find out what works for you and to build up a routine. If you take your medication at the same time every day, perhaps work it in to your daily routine, for example before or after every meal. There are many medication reminder product on the market that may help, however, if you only have liquid medication, a tablet reminder product will not help you as they are only effective if you have tablets to put in the slots. If you have a base/home unit in your home, check the product details as some have a reminder system built into them.
