Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Multiple Sclerosis is an auto immune condition that affects the nervous system. The immune system attacks the myelin (the protective layer around nerves) causing inflammation and lesions. This can affect how well the brain and the body send signals to each other.

Symptoms can vary but can include mobility concerns, movement disorders, sensory changes, pain, cognitive changes, fatigue and muscle spasms/stiffness, although most suffers will only have a few of these symptoms.
